Membership

Oregon Chess Federation (OCF) membership is only available to Oregon residents. There are currently three ways for Oregon residents to obtain an OCF membership:

1. Buy a basic membership. The rates, all 1-year, are $17.50 for adults, $10 for Juniors (under age 21 at expiration), and $5 for each additional family member (those living in the same household). Basic memberships include an online pdf version of the Northwest Chess magazine each month and the right to vote on motions at the annual OCF meeting. 2. Buy a premium membership from the Northwest Chess website. The rates are:

Adult: $30 for 1 year, $80 for 3 years
Junior (under age 21 at expiration): $14 for 6 months, $24 for 1 year, $43 for 2 years
Senior (age 65 or older at purchase): $25 for 1 year, $65 for 3 years
Extra Family Member (those living in the same household): $10 for 1 year, $18 for 2 years (with $43 Junior membership), $25 for 3 years

Premium memberships includes an online pdf version and a printed copy of the Northwest Chess magazine each month, free entry into Northwest Chess webinars, and the right to vote on motions at the annual OCF meeting. Note the extra family member membership does not come with an additional printed copy of the Northwest Chess magazine.

3. Buy a basic or premium membership when you attend an Oregon Chess Federation tournament.
