Advertising Parameters

OCF welcomes advertising on our website. Ads need not be chess-related. Please remember this is a family-friendly website.

Ads are published for one month beginning from date of payment receipt. Multiple-month ads are welcomed.

Ads will be displayed on OCF's For Sale webpage and arranged on a first come-first served basis, the most recent ad at the top.

Ads will be in text form similar to the rest of OCF's website.

There is no additional charge for bold or italic text.

There is no limit to the number of ads you may place.

Pictures may be included and will be displayed under the ad text within the border. Multiple pictures will be displayed side-by-side and stacked if necessary, depending upon the number submitted.

Maximum of six pictures per ad.

Maximum picture size is three inches by three inches. Pictures will be adjusted if necessary to fit within the three-inch picture size (pictures will not be distorted).

Advertising Submission

To submit your ad and pictures via email, please send them as email attachments to the Web Keeper, Tess Wentz, at dandtwentz@msn.com. (Ad text may also be within the body of the email if that's easier for you.)

Please submit pictures as email attachments in .jpg or .gif file format only. Pictures should be a maximum of 75KB in size.

The total size of your email, including attachments. must not be larger than 1MB.

If you prefer to submit your ad in written form, Tess will be happy to prepare it for web publication. If you wish to include pictures but don't have the means to submit those via email, she'll also be happy to work with you on getting them scanned for website publishing. If not using email, please submit your ad and pictures to Tess at the address below.

Once your ad is submitted, Tess will determine what it will cost and send you an invoice via email.

Monthly Advertising Payment

Please do not send payment until you are invoiced!

All ads must be prepaid.

The cost for monthly ads is $.10 per word for OCF members and $.20 per word for non-OCF members with a $1.00 or $2.00 minimum, as applicable.

Pictures are an additional $1.00 each for OCF members and $2.00 each for non-OCF members per month.

Please include copies of your ad and pictures with your payment as well as your full name, phone number and/or email address in case there are questions. Please state if you are an OCF member.

Tess will forward your payment to the OCF Treasurer, Mike Morris, for deposit.

Please do not send your payment directly to Mike as this will slow down the publication of your ad.

Please do not send cash.
